Louis Charles Barthélémy, was a picture framer and settled in the Germain Pilon Street, very next to the Abesses Place and the 'Butte Montmartre'. Encouraged by the artists he was used to see permanently and with the emulation , he began a painter career and specialized himself in urban landscape and marines.
That's what gave him the honor to be present in the painter bible, the Benezit Dictionary of Artists
